Job Description
Prominent Los Angeles-based family seeks an experienced and creative Corporate Executive Chef to provide high-quality daily meal service for their family of four, with additional support for private dinners, corporate gatherings, and intimate events as needed. The role is full-time and primarily based out of the family’s new residence. A typical workweek is Monday through Friday, approximately 9:00am to 5:00pm, with flexibility required for evening events, weekends, and scheduling changes. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about healthy, seasonal cuisine. This position is expected to begin in late Summer 2025.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily for the family; typically family-style for breakfast and dinner, plated lunch in the home (occasional request for lunch to be delivered to Principal’s office)
- Create weekly menus with an emphasis on healthy, organic, seasonal ingredients
- Source fresh, premium ingredients and establish/maintain vendor relationships
- Manage all grocery shopping and maintain organized pantry and kitchen inventory
- Ensure the kitchen is clean and sanitary at all times; responsible for all cleanup
- Prepare snacks or light meals for visiting relatives or small company-related functions
- Support private dinners and events for up to 10 guests; additional culinary staff may be brought in for larger events (50–60+ guests)
- Collaborate with existing household and event staff to ensure seamless service and hospitality
- Remain flexible and accommodating with schedule adjustments and last-minute requests
- Additional Chef responsibilities as needed and as requested
Requirements:
- Fluent in English; exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal and by phone and email
- Excellent references required from both current and previous employers
- Minimum 5+ years of related experience; prior experience in private homes or high-end settings preferred
- Culinary Arts degree or formal training from an accredited institution strongly preferred
- Knowledge of organic, seasonal, and health-conscious cuisine; open to guidance from a nutritionist
- Must have a warm, professional demeanor with a team-oriented mindset
- Highly organized, exceptional attention to detail. with excellent time management and multi-tasking abilities
- Works with the utmost discretion and confidentiality at all times while demonstrating integrity and strong ethics
- Poised and professional in both mindset and manner demonstrating high emotional intelligence
- Outstanding problem solver; resourceful and quick-thinking
- Hands-on and proactive approach; able to see jobs through to completion with personal accountability
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team; working respectfully and collaboratively with principal, family, and existing and future staff
- Confident, comfortable with feedback, and willingness to go above and beyond
- Flexibility in scheduling with the willingness to work additional hours, events, weekends, or occasional travel
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Authorized to work within the United States without sponsorship or restrictions

Salary: $160K-180k; All compensation are Dependent On Experience, References, and results of a Federal Background Check
