Position Summary:

Long Wave Inc is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Control Account Manager (CAM) with Department of Defense (DoD) experience. The CAM will be responsible for managing scope, schedule, and budget for engineering work packages, ensuring alignment with Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and program objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage control accounts for multiple teams
2. Track and report earned value using Deltek Open Plan Professional (OPP)
3. Collaborate with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Program Management, and Finance to ensure cost, schedule, and technical performance is maintained
4. Interface with subcontractors to track progress, validate deliverables, and manage schedule risk
5. Coordinate task tracking and performance metrics in JIRA
6. Identify and mitigate risks related to cost, schedule, or execution
7. Support Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs), program reviews, and audits

Work Conditions:

The employee will be working in an office setting and may be required to travel occasionally.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 3+ years of experience in project management, scheduling, or CAM role
• Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) principles
• Proficiency in Deltek OPP, JIRA, and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• U.S. Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting DoD programs
• Knowledge of training systems or simulators
• Exposure to subcontractor management
• Understanding of WBS structures, IMS logic, and variance analysis

• This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
